It’s been years since we’ve been here. We came back with a new furry friend. We were dog sitting and needed help during the holidays and everyone there is super nice. They have cameras all over the place and you can view it if you wanna see how your little one or big one is doing. What I forgot about, is that you have to bring your own food and snacks. Not all dogs have the same diet. The one main challenge which ended up not being a challenge later on, was trying to get into the gate and leaving. For as many dogs as they had, the intercom electric gate system seem to work out well. Things to note, you have to do a assessment and they’ll see where your dog fits. I think they’re at full capacity now, but our dog got grandfathered in. We are very grateful to Management and Staff for all that they do. It is so exciting to see our little lady get to go to Paradise Ranch. Thank you for making it so much fun.
This place is like a five star extended stay hotel/day care for dogs and it is an amazing. No cages, off the leash and supervised by professionals. It’s not a problem if dog never been trained. They have an excellent K9 training program to teach proper behavior. Age or size of the pet doesn’t make a difference. All dogs are getting proper education, the best care and loving they do need. On top of that, security cameras everywhere around. It gives an opportunity for the pet’s owners check on their pets 24/7. Just go on line and see your dog. This place is very impressive. Paradise indeed.
I’ve been bringing my dog here for years. Daycare is very affordable, boarding a little more expensive. My dog is always thrilled to go, and is tired when she gets home. I love that I can see her on the webcams when I’m traveling too. Staff is always kind.
Does anyone else think this place is odd?
When you go in for orientation, you have to watch this "Welcome video" that represents like bad utopian horror movie or an episode from black mirror.
PROS:
The facility is beautiful, clean and well designed to monitor large groups of dogs. staff seems well trained. Plenty of cameras to watch your dog.
CON: expensive, difficult to get booking during holidays and here is the odd part I don't like..
the dogs are not allowed to play. They use this unique "pack-leader" technique where each group of dogs (about 20)gets assigned pack leader staff. All the dogs indistinctly recognize that the human staff is the pack leader and they naturally behave and is submissive within the group. The staff is not allowed to pet, give attention or Play with the dogs. The dogs are not allowed to play amongst themselves (no chasing, no wrestling, no dog play) neither. If they start playing or getting excited, the human staff warns them by spraying water or putting a leash on them. This technique is actually clever and keeps the dogs calm and uniformed. but when I watch the camera, the dogs are just chilling.. almost like zombie dogs. They're not running around having fun. They're not allowed to. They just roam around alone in circles or just sleep. Their photos on the Google page look like they're having a hell of a time but reality is a bit different.
end of story: if your dog is older, just likes to chill and hang out.. this place might be good. But if your dog like mine is social, outgoing and wants to run around with other dogs, do not come here as that kind of behavior is not allowed.
And please.. did anyone else find the intro video during orientation a but creepy?
This is the best pet resort ever. My dog Henny loves it. It’s clean and well managed. I leave her over night when we are out of town, and feel 💯 confident my dog is well taken care of. Can’t imagine what I would do without them. …
If I could, I would give 10 stars to Paradise Ranch! My dobbie goes there almost every day for a few hours to burn her energy. The staff is not just friendly, they are super professional - everybody: the handlers, office people, especially their trainers Elias and Mihdi. Sofie was going there for a 3 week training and it made such a difference. And the owners are so great and helpful - if you ask them to go one mile, they will do five! They would listen and make any adjustments or requests. It is such a beautiful place, real paradise for our doggies:)
Recommend Paradise Ranch to everyone we know! Our dog Ruby is 2 years old and we have been sending her to Paradise Ranch for almost the entirety of her life and she LOVES it. We have had so much success with their daycare and especially with their cage free boarding services.
The staff is fantastic. Kind, responsive and attentive. Also, the ability to to check on Ruby through the camera system offered is a fantastic perk when I am out of town and missing my dog.
10/10 worth it!!
Great place to bring our dog for both training and boarding. It's always a pleasure working with Elias, our dog trainer, and the whole team at Paradise Ranch. We are grateful for every person who cares for our dog. Ya'll have been a God send to us in every possible way. Keep up the great work ya'll do!
